Emmy-Awards 2013: Die nominierten Serien der Verleihung

Spannend wird es bei der Emmy-Verleihung am 22. September in Los Angeles. Gleich 16 Mal ist die weltweit erfolgreiche Serie "Game of Thrones" nominiert. Außerdem hat die US-Serie "House of Cards" Emmy-Geschichte geschrieben: Erstmals ist mit ihr eine über das Internet ausgestrahlte Serie in der wichtigen Kategorie beste Drama-Serie für einen Emmy Award nominiert worden.

Die meisten Emmy-Nominierungen erhielt aber die Horror-Serie “American Horror Story: Asylum”. Sie wurde 17 Mal nominiert. 16 Nominierungen gab es für die Fantasy-Serie “Game of Thrones”, jeweils 15 für die Comedy-Show “Saturday Night Live” und den Fernsehfilm “Behind the Candelabra” über den Pianisten Liberace.

In dem Film sind die Schauspieler Michael Douglas und Matt Damon zu sehen, die am Donnerstag ebenfalls beide für einen Emmy nominiert wurden.Um den Preis in der wichtigen Kategorie beste Drama-Serie konkurrieren in diesem Jahr neben “House of Cards”, die Serien “Game of Thrones”, “Breaking Bad”, “Downton Abbey”, “Mad Men” und “Homeland”. Nominiert in der Kategorie beste Comedy-Serie sind “The Big Bang Theory”, “Girls”, “Louie”, “Modern Family”, “Veep – Die Vizepräsidentin” und “30 Rock”.
