Nach dem Schwedischen Meistertitel 2011 mit Carlstad Crusaders verfolgt Stein folgende Ziele: „My personal oriented goal for the season with the Vikings is to provide any knowledge and skills to my teammates that I can, helping to make an all around better football club. My team oriented goal is winning two championships, AFL and EFL.“

Bezüglich der Begegnungen mit seinem ehemaligen Team sieht Stein positiv in die Zukunft: „I had an incredible experience when playing with the Dragons meeting several people who care about others and have proven that to me. I anticipate some hard feelings, because of how big the Dragons committment is to winning. At the same time, I know that many of my friends are happy for me and my wife Mary, and they will be excited for us to be in Vienna again. Playing against them will be a bitter sweet scenario, because I am such a big fan of their success along with the L’Hospitalet Pioners of Spain and the Carlstad Crusaders of Sweden, my former teams. But while I’m playing with the Vikings, wins for my club against any other club in Europe is of primary importance to me.“
